HI FRIENDS....





It's been long since I have posted something new...
I have been very busy being a support and help to my son who is studying for his exams.
I have lots to write and lots to blog about and will be doing it in a few days time...
I would love to hear from all my friends who do come and visit my blogs and find that I am not writing something new..
Please leave a line; it makes me feel good....
I have clicked a lot of pictures and let me give you a sneak preview of things to come…. Hehe…

    Welcome back. I am new to food blogging, but came across your blog sometime back when I was googling for Taushali. Your pictures brought back a lot of memories as we lived in Goa befor coming to Kochi 3 years back.
    You also reinforce the fact that there is a lot of vegetarian cooking in the Konkan region!

    I was thrilled to find your blog and authentic Goan recipes. So many of your recipes look like the ones made by my mum and aunts but I hardly ever remember to make them in my own kitchen. I was chuckling to myself when you wrote about Khatkhate being a very special dish to GSBs. So true! My all-time favorite is sola kadi with coconut milk (we call it nallachi kadi at home). Very simple, very yummy! I am a fairly young blogger unlike you. I've added you to my favorite foodie links, I hope you don't mind. Do leave me a line at my little food blog if you happen to visit.   23. Greetings, Mahek! I am so happy I found your site! I am allergic to gluten and dairy and do not eat meat (except for some fish), and South Indian food is perfect for me, and of course, perfectly DELICIOUS! I found your site looking for a whole-grain uttapam recipe. I want eventually to adapt some GF roti recipes to local (California), organic ingredients, but should probably learn the traditional way first. Thank you for this blog! I will visit often!
