meal which I make when I get clams at the fish market. We at home and also in most
of our Hindu Goan homes , clams are made in a dry and wet curry form and they

pepper to taste. I also add a little sugar to balance the taste of the tomatoes
but it’s purely optional it depends on the taste a person prefers.</span></span></div>

and quick. Here the other day I created this recipe quite by accident.</span></div>

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I was planning on doing poha, a breakfast dish made with
flattened rice (a very commonly done dish here in the state where I live.)</span></div>

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">When I went into the kitchen I saw that there were not enough
poha (flattened rice) to make my breakfast, and so I thought of trying this
dish which came out just perfect.. It is filling and tasty the flattened rice
provide the required softness to the dosas.</span></div>

soak (do not keep water just drain it out when you wash them that’s enough for
them to get soaked)</span></div>

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Take a cup of sour curd; add ½ cup fine semolina or Rava to it.
Let it stand for about 15 mins, grind the above poha to a fine paste and add to
the semolina, curd mix.</span></div>

my earlier post I will be posting some vintage recipes which I have collected
over a long period of time..They are from friends and some are from

<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;">I am a collector of books especially cook books and Interior books.. I have been buying books since the last 15 yrs and have a huge collection of them.. In India as space is always not enough .It becomes a big problem storing these books and it takes me a lot of time and effort to arrange and keep all the books in place.</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;">Its my project this year , to go through all my loose recipes i.e recipes which I have taken copies from old cookbooks and filed . </span></span><br />
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;">I am planning to discard a few of them as I have cooked them before ( I have never ever followed a single recipe from a book as it is , I always make changes , to make it my own and hence I do not need the exact recipe for making a dish ). Its my hobby to collect cookbooks read them and also as they grow older my fondness for them increases which makes it impossible for me to discard them.</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;">But the loose pages which I have either torn from old books or magazines or had taken copies from friends who owned those books these pages are giving away as they are old. The copies have been taken over a long period of time hence I do not know which books they come from or the source..</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;">So It just passed my mind that I should not let a old recipe go to waste why not share with like minded friends and then discard it.. Will my friends and all my readers like it if I do so more often because I have a lot to share.. It would be great if you tell me what you feel .</span></span><br />

<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">This is an easy and filling sandwich which can be made in 10 mins flat and you can even make a lot of changes as per choice i will suggest a few changes which you can incorporate into the sandwich making.</span></span></span><br />

There are many homes that I know of do not need anything extra other than fish fry or fish curry when they plan their menu..but in our home we need one vegetable to go along with the fried fish or fish curry ..</span></span></span><br />

In Goa it is garnished with finely grated coconut too.</span></span><br />
