Dear Mahek -
I enjoyed the photos; especially the first one of the mango tree - was it taken in the early morning?
I read your blog regularly. My husband is from Goa and we spend a few weeks there every year. Many of your thali posts remind me of my visits there and the dishes that I have learnt from various home cooks in Panjim.
Best regards,
Veena
hi
Veena,
Thanks a lot for visiting, appreciating and commenting on the post..
It keeps you wanting to do more when people who read comment...
Yes, You are right the picture is taken early in the morning... how did you guess?
I stay in Mumbai and like you visit Goa probably once in a year...
Where do you stay? We have relatives in Panjim too...
Mahek -
There is the early morning mist in the photo. Moreover, when we visit Goa, we usually step out very early in the morning for photo shoots; so I know how lovely it looks at that time of day.
I am from Bombay and my husband and I live in California. You can see his Goa photos on his blog: www.parrikar.com/blog and the main photo site (link on the top menu).
Nice work on your blog. There are thousands of food blog these days, but the ones I keep going back to are those where home-cooking from the blogger's culinary tradition is honestly and sincerely presented without too much frills or fuss. Yours is one such.
Best regards,
Veena
