Being a place of great tourist attraction is also a source of income for many goan locals and you will find many small shops adjoining the temple premises . I have clicked some of the local vendors who we see frequently around the temple.

you can see the influence of the sea and its elements on the handicrafts of Goa.
These are some of the handicrafts made in Goa.
1. Coconut products---These products are made of dry coconuts and coconut shells. The dry coconuts are nicely carved in different designs, varnished and coloured to make it more attractive. The items produced include Table lamps, flower pots, table clocks, different idols and decorative items.
2.shell products----Shells with beautiful shapes, bright colours are designed to form lovely wall hangings, lamps etc.
3.Clay products----This is the traditional art that has come from generation to generation. Right from utility items like pots, ash trays, to decorative items like flower pots, idols of Gods etc. have been moulded out of mud.
